I have worked with everyone from 6 to 84, because let’s face it: we all need to move! Why would you want to work with a trainer like me? First things first, I’m not going to let you get by with bad form and silly movements that are not going to help you in the long run. If you don’t want to see yourself change for the better, you might want to look for a different trainer. I promise you the safest, most effective and useful movement training possible. I stand by the idea that we are stewards of a body that we’ve been given and are called to take care of it to the best of our abilities. Fitness is a lifestyle, not a trend. I absolutely LOVE helping people establish and maintain the best shape and well-being of their lives. I train you to do life better, whether it’s carrying groceries up a flight of stairs or playing with your grandchildren at 85. I want you to have confidence in your lifting technique and be able to climb a 14’er with ease. I want you to be able to dominate the next sports season or competition, gain muscle, or slim down, and prove you’re able to do more than you think you can. This doesn’t always mean more weight, reps and higher intensity. While it can be those things, all I’m interested in is that we are making the most of what we’ve been given and approach each workout and each day with the attitude that is set to succeed. Workouts are never the same, but strategically varied. My two biggest focuses are to develop healthy training patterns and muscular balance to avoid injury, and of course establish overall well-being. After all, exercise is essential for a lot more than just your body! I currently hold a Personal Training Certification through ACE as well as a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certification. I hold extensive knowledge through Eat to Perform Nutrition course training. I have a background in high school Cross Country, basketball, and track and have been doing CrossFit training for the last five years. I’ve worked with clients of all ages and will create custom programs just for you. I cater to the individual in the way we approach a workout, and I guarantee I’ll help you discover more of your true potential and abilities in a safe and effective manner. (And don’t worry, we will have lots of fun too!) When not in the gym you can find me outside hiking, skiing, hunting, climbing, trail running, and snowshoeing. I also enjoy competing in CrossFit and Spartan races. When not participating in fitness activities, I love traveling internationally, songwriting and singing worship and country music.
