The problem
Sedentary lifestyles. They're killing people. Too many people sit too much of the day, or even if they do get out and exercise, we've developed imbalanced bodies. Some examples of this are having all lower body and no upper body strength for women or tight hamstrings and weak hips for runners. More often than not, weak cores are causing a lot of unnecessary back pain. (And no, it's not countless sit-ups that will give you abs). With the growing epidemic of these unhealthy lifestyles, how well equipped are we as a society, truly? Is it possible we've brought on a lot of unnecessary and avoidable pain and disease? Together, we can change that.
The solution: functional movement
I don't want you to live in the gym. I'm here to help you perform better at life! How often do you carry lots of bags or groceries and wish you could take them all in one trip? Is your core tight? How do your forearms hold up? Have you ever had to help your friend or move your home and lift lots of heavy boxes and walk away wishing you'd have squatted a little more on that last one? Functional movement training not only helps you lift properly in all kinds of ways but it helps you develop muscular strength AND endurance to give you the confidence you need to conquer whatever life may throw at you.
Not only does it help you do life better, I've seen countless athletes perform better at their sport whether soccer, hockey, sprinting, cross-country, swimming and so many other sports. With regular balanced training, we can offset imbalances, help you get started on or progress in an exercise program and together achieve overall better health and well-being.
